Free Windows Virtual Machines Downloading and how to get .osa to work in Oracle Virtual Box
If you are like me and afraid of viruses, but still want to try out sketchy programs:
Microsoft has free Virtual Machines of Windows you can download. So I downloaded Windows 7 from here
Where things went from is – I tried to add it to my Oracle Virtual Box program and I just couldn’t do it. I was choosing “Add” and then I couldn’t browse for the zip file – or the .osa file inside the .zip file. I finally stumbled on it, I just double-clicked the .osa file because it looked associated with something – and boom – it popped up Virtual Box.
Success. Now off to install some sketchy software.
